Relationship Anxiety Treatment
Feeling anxious about a relationship you have with a friend, partner, or family member can completely overwhelm you.
It’s hard to know what steps to take in trying to communicate your feelings and thoughts to that person. It might even be difficult to be around them.
Maybe you feel like the person you care about doesn’t ever seem to be listening to you. Or maybe you’re filled with anxiety thinking about something awful that might happen to someone you care about. Maybe you’re worried about making a decision about whether or not you want to stay in a relationship.
It can be so difficult to know how to manage certain relationships. And the way you think or feel about those relationships can impact your interactions with people you care about.
But there are ways to navigate your emotions to help you feel less anxious in your relationships. You can even learn new ways to act that might be useful for helping you feel better about your part in the relationship, even if the other person doesn’t change.
It might seem impossible to give up yours fears and anxiety surrounding the relationship. You might even avoid the person because the problem is too difficult to face. Maybe you feel that your anxiety somehow helps you better navigate your relationships.
However, there are ways to give up those fears and improve your relationships.
Sessions with me are interactive and goal-oriented with a focus on helping you develop new beliefs so you can work toward feeling less anxious and managing your relationships with confidence.
